DIY HALLOWEEN FLYING BAT WALL
Hey, BOO! We wanted to bring a little spooky-ness to our mom’s hallway. It’s a little bricked hallway with a bench that connects her living room and kitchen. What better way to do that then with a flying bat installation?!!! Here is how we brought this spooky bat wall to life in 3 simple steps!
- First, we couldn’t have made this happen without the fabulous Ella Claire & Co (www.ellaclaireinspired.com) . We used the attached Printable Bats from Ella Claire & Co’s Blog below:

To make your own bats, just download and print the templates, cut them out and trace onto black cardstock with a pencil. Then just cut them out. You can download the large bat template HERE. The smaller bats are linked HERE.

2. We wanted to incorporate the bats into the mirror and have it be dramatic covering most of the wall so we started placing varying sizes on the mirror by using glue dots. We initially used double sided tape and they wouldn’t stick well enough on the mirror or the wall. Then, we worked our way up the mirror to the right and down the mirror to the left, to have the bats flying all in the same direction.

3. We then added a spooky pillow, varying pumpkins, a metal black cat, skeletons & an old bubble bath jar that we used as a potion jar. We added a couple of the bats to the pumpkins and the jar to complete the look!

It was as easy as 1-2-3! We are so happy how it turned out. These bats would be so cute added to any wall where you want to add some Halloween accents, a mantel, bar cart + more!

Stay SPOOKY, yall!
